Accommodations

We have secured 50 rooms, in three different hotels/room blocks, for Thursday, May 30 – Sunday, June 3, 2013. Here are the specifics for each room block:

Holiday Inn Ithaca: Block of 25 rooms, $169.99/night: Individuals contact the hotel directly either by phone or web (607-272-1000 OR 1-800-HOLIDAY) and specify group booking code NAK. Cutoff date for people to reserve is Tues, April 30, 2013, after this date any remaining available rooms in the block are released.

Hilton Garden Inn Ithaca: Block of 15 rooms, $155/night: Individuals contact the hotel directly by phone or web (607-277-8900 OR 1-877-STAY-HGI, www.ithaca.hgi.com) and specify group/convention code CUNAKS. Cutoff date for people to reserve is Fri, April 26, 2013, after this date any remaining available rooms in the block are released. IMPORTANT: this block (Hilton) requires guests to reserve for all four nights.

Courtyard by Marriott Ithaca: Block of 10 rooms, $189/night: Individuals contact the hotel directly by phone (1-866-541-3600). They should ask for Courtyard by Marriott Ithaca and identify association with the North American Kant Society. Cutoff date for people to reserve is Tues, April 30, 2013, after this date any remaining available rooms in the block are released.

The C.E. Cornell House is also in easy walking distance to Cornell campus, and has an assortment of rooms and suites. Rates are $85 per night for a room (with breakfast served at Edgewood House). There is also a third-floor apartment which is self-contained with two bedrooms, a separate kitchen, and a full bath for $150 per night. Please contact Pat Ehrichfor further details and booking.

Travel

Air: Ithaca has its own airport, which can be very convenient. Taxi service from the airport is available. Call 607.277.7777 for pickup.

There is also the airport in Syracuse. There is a shuttle service which can take you to Ithaca from the airport.

Ground: From New York City the most comfortable form of ground transport is the Cornell Campus to Campus Shuttle Service.

There is also the Shortline Bus, which is less expensive.
